Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel is made from freshly cut organic whole-leaf aloe grown on USDA-certified organic fields in Southern Texas, processed about 20 minutes from the field and bottled in Texas: freshly harvested leaves become finished gel within 8 hours, transport included. The whole label is five food-grade ingredients: Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf (98.7%), agar, citric acid, ascorbic acid and potassium sorbate. No added water, no alcohol, no glycols, no EDTA; agar, a naturally derived seaweed thickener, gives the gel its light, clear, quick-absorbing, non-sticky feel in place of xanthan gum or carbomer. The gel is IASC certified for aloe content and purity and re-tested every year (2026 certificate valid to February 2027), and certified to NSF/ANSI 305 by QAI for personal care products containing organic ingredients. It has been independently tested for aloin (Non Detect), rated Excellent by Dermatest in a dermatological skin patch test, and scores SkinSAFE 100 and Yuka 100/100 on ingredient ratings. Use it as a daily moisturizer for face and skin, as a light gel for hair and scalp, or as a cooling after sun gel. Patch-test on a less sensitive area before first facial use; for external use only.
